Mind you, I've only had the strawberry and pecan salad but if it would have been a good salad, I would be returning. I knew the minute I picked up my to go bag and it weighed a few ounces that it wouldn't be worth it. It literally was a handful of leaves, some slices of strawberries and a few pecans. They gave a very small bag of prepackaged croutons and some dressing on the side. The salad was worth about $3 and I paid $8.50. Can't say I will be returning and I'm sorry about that. I have yet to find a good salad/sandwich shop in Rock Hill. I have a dream of opening one, just so I can have a good lunch!!

Our go to place from a local business to another. My guys at Shift Fast Motorsports eat here at least 2-3 days out of the week! Great service, food is on point, and everything is fairly price! Winning combination!

What a great lunch joint! The only thing missing from the name is...authentic and soup. Whether you're in the mood for some barbecue or some potato soup, the friendly service at Southern Salad and Sandwich Co. are always happy to make you something tasty. Prices are very reasonable. Try: The chicken salad Take home: Some pimento cheese...and put it on some grilled burgers.

Love, love, love their creamy chicken salad. They have chunky too, but I haven't tried it yet. Pimiento cheese is very good too.Tastes even better served warm. Try it in a grilled cheese sandwich or on top of a burger. I'm thinking it would taste good served warm with tortilla chips or toasted pita bread or stuffed in a chicken breast. Good prices and friendly service. Can be crowded during peak lunch hours.

My review is based on a call in order. I have eaten here 3 times. All 3 times were on my lunch break. Two out of the three times the food was not ready. The first time it was due to being really busy. The second time was because I wasnt asked what type of bread so I ended up waiting for my order to be made as I arrived anyway. The server was very apologetic. I believe the third time it possibly would have happened again had I not mentioned the bread. With that being said the sandwiches have always been great. My order is always the same chunky chicken salad on a croissant. I have tried the bbq slaw, pasta salad and regular slaw. Of the three my preference is for the bbq slaw. Its so different. My meal cost about 7 dollars. I wished there was more lunch type specials that would set this place apart from other sandwich shops. I definately will visit again.

Creamy chicken salad sandwich was so good I couldn't get enough. I had mine on toasted pumpernickel with lettuce and tomato and a side sliced dill pickle. Oh very tasty a must try!

Visiting area and was glad to find a restaurant that had clean dining room, excellent food, and nice people. And now for the food. Excellent. Home made potato salad, real BBQ and shaved ice and non-bagged brewed sweet and unsweet tea. In case I cannot get the stars to show. FIVE!

One of my favorite local sandwich shops! I love going here for lunch...and i especially like the chunky chicken salad on croissant. Everyone working here has been so courteous and professional each and every time I have visited. The wait from the time you order to the time the food is ready is very minimal. When dining in, staff also comes around very frequently to ensure that we are enjoying ourselves. Prices are also very reasonable.
